Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms apply to the Visto app during its closed beta. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them together with our privacy policy.
2. What Visto is
Visto is a free, invitation-only beta that shows you your spending from the bank statements you import. It is still being built: features will change, there will be bugs, and the beta may end.
3. Not financial advice
Visto gives you an overview of your spending and help with budgeting — nothing more. It does not give investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a financial service under the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA).
4. Accuracy
Visto sorts your transactions into categories automatically, and it can get them wrong. Its totals include only what you have imported — cash spending, for example, is not visible. Visto is not a substitute for your bank statement, your bookkeeping or your tax return. Check the numbers before you act on them.
5. Your responsibilities
You must be at least 18 to use the Visto beta. You also agree to:
- keep your password safe;
- import only statements you are entitled to — your own, or with the account holder's permission;
- not try to access other users' data or get around Visto's security.
6. Your data
Your data stays yours. We use it only to run Visto, as described in the privacy policy. You can export it or delete it at any time in Settings.
7. Price and end of the beta
The beta is free. We will never charge you without your explicit consent. Before any paid plan starts, we will ask you to choose: continue on a paid plan, or export and delete your data. If Visto ends, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance so you can export your data.
8. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Visto running, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. Our liability is excluded to the extent permitted by Swiss law. Liability for intent and gross negligence is not excluded.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Visto at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may end your access if you misuse Visto, or with notice when the beta ends.
10. Changes to these terms
We will announce changes to these terms in advance. If you do not agree with them, you can delete your account.
11. Applicable law
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is the operator's domicile; mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers remain reserved.
Visto provides spending visibility and budgeting guidance only — not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
